What did you get up to?
The Links Hotel is set in a stunning area, a stone's throw from Cromer and the beautiful beach. Upon arrival, the staff were very accommodating in getting me settled into my room, which was spacious and spotless. The reception staff told me about the local area as I was due to head out, pointing out other areas of interest and what time to come down for breakfast the following morning.
Down the road is the beach, which is accessible via a small path which can be walked or driven down. The beach itself is incredibly clean and accommodates for both sand and stone beach lovers, although further down towards Cromer it does feature more stones. Within the vicinity of the Hotel, there are some fantastic places to enjoy an evening meal and drink. The Village Inn pub features a good array of beers, ales, house wines and a selection of food to go with it.
The Links Hotel was a fantastic setting for an afternoon tea, which hosted a wide variety of cakes, finger sandwiches and lovely warm scones. The food was all fresh and tasted amazing, a definite go-to for all afternoon tea lovers. The pot of tea was wonderful and hot, the milk perfect and cold and my friend had a peppermint tea, which was delightful. Make sure you leave plenty of room as it was very filling.
The room we stayed in was wonderful and very spacious, meaning me and my friend had plenty of room to ditch our stuff as we headed out for the evening. It was one of the most comfy beds to sleep on, but the breakfast was well worth getting out of bed for.
If you are in the mood for some sports and exercise, the golf course behind the hotel is sure to get the circulation going for a small charge, and the tennis court is well maintained to ensure that there is something for everyone. The indoor pool was at a lovely temperature to enjoy a paddle, plus there is a gym free of charge which hosts some great equipment to help burn off the hot breakfast.
What did you enjoy the most?
I loved how close this was to the beach! We spent the whole day there.

Perfect choice
This was.bought as a gift from our daughter.... everything about the booking (which was very straight forward ) from the choice of hotel( which was beautiful and in a great location) was perfect, we were treated very well from beginning to end of the whole experience .....

Poor
I was extremely disappointed that an expensive deal worth £169 was terrible!
Got a cream tea as opposed to an afternoon tea, was originally asked to pay a surcharge as a Saturday night, was put in a budget room, was required to pay extra if was to use spa facilities.
Was overall very misleading and disappointing!

Lovely staff
I had this bought for me last year. Hotel situated in the country very quiet, very welcoming staff. Our room was a little tired, maybe time for an update.

Good package - odd hotel service
I was given the voucher as a present and very much looked forward to using it for a "ladies who take tea" country hotel getaway. The hotel was nice but clearly had no idea what afternoon tea was. 80's pop music and bland doorstop sandwiches? Plus when we asked to take our scones to our hotel room to finish later we were given just that - the accompaniments (jam, clotted cream, plates, knives) were all removed and the dry scones put in a plastic takeaway container. Overall, very odd. Good voucher which I would recommend, just not sure about the selection of venues. Hopefully, I just chose poorly.

Super stay in a wonderful setting
We used an Xmas gift from our Daughter and Son in Law, and had a wonderful time. Excellent hotel, attentive staff, and the afternoon tea was something to behold!!
Lovely room, with fourposter bed, which we didn't expect!!, and nice views over the lovely gardens, which we explored at length later to walk the enormous tea off!!
Great experience all round and thank you one and all.
One downside?? Very minor one though. Coming from the south, the satnav finished in the middle of the village, a mile or so from the hotel!!
Had to ask at a local shop. Perhaps another sign in the village would help, or maybe I messed up on the settings, who knows?, but a good stay otherwise!
