You’ll fly in either a Stampe or Tiger Moth. Both biplanes are both wonderfully unique and are both very unusual to handle. Flying one of these beautiful machines is an art form, and an experience like no other.
You’ll be 'swinging the prop', among other excellent biplane phrases and procedures, to get these classics going and ready for take-off. Once the biplane is ready, it will be incredibly eager to get going, as will you and your pilot! This really is an exhilarating flight. Your pilot will demonstrate how to pilot the plane and will take you up to a great spot for you to take the controls and have a go yourself! Whilst biplanes are very much open to the elements, when inside the cockpit you’re actually very well shielded from the wind, so you can enjoy the benefits of open cockpit flying, without all of the bluster.
