• A full UK or European manual driving licence is required, which must have been held for at least one year with no serious offences.

What did you get up to?
Having never done a driving day experience before, I was unsure of quite what to expect. There was plenty of space to park up which was handy as it was a very busy day. Upon signing in, the receptionist, Freya, offered a number of other opportunities which were available for purchase on the day, and looking to make the most of a wet August morning, decided to purchase a sighting lap as well as a lap in the Lotus Exige, where I would be a passenger in a high-speed lap.

The facilities provided enough to do whilst waiting for my starting time, and the safety briefing was very informative. The staff did their very best in making sure everyone had been catered for in the midst of a chaotic morning where the weather took a turn for the worse. The organisers made sure everyone had an opportunity to get involved as quickly as possible.

Overall, it was an amazing experience! Other laps can be bought on site, so if you want to add more laps to a particular car, then the staff will accommodate for that.

What did you enjoy the most?
The cars themselves were brilliantly well maintained, the instructors very friendly and they offered excellent advice about the course and how to get the most out of the car you were currently driving.

Top Tip

1. Make sure you bring some extra money to purchase photos and videos that are taken throughout the day so you can look back on the memories in years to come. 2. Bring water proofs as there is not much coverage if it is raining.
