Skydiving in Lincolnshire

What do you think of when you start considering the biggest bucket list adrenaline experiences that one can have in their lifetime? If not right at the top of the list, then at least in the top 3, will be Skydiving!

Jumping from a plane, hurtling through the sky, with your arms outstretched as the ground gets closer and closer is a rush that you’ll never have experienced before! Dance around in the skies, once your parachute has opened at around 5,000ft, and as you float on down to the landing pad where your adoring fans are waiting to cheer your arrival!

Hibaldstow Airfield is an established parachute centre and has served skydiving enthusiasts since 1992. The airfield is well known in the skydiving community, as it offers the highest skydives in the UK and has become a regular host to the British National Championships.

Here at Hibaldstow you have the choice of two skydives; the exhilarating tandem dive or the daring Accelerated Free Fall (AFF). The centre is home to the best of the best instructors, with a combined jump tally of well over 30,000 – so whichever jump you pick, you will be in safe hands.

The tandem dive is perfect for first time jumpers. The quickest way to get into skydiving with minimal training required. Within half an hour you will be fully trained, strapped to your instructor via a special double harness and ready to take to the skies.

You will be treated to stunning views as the plane climbs higher and higher. When the aircraft reaches a dazzling 15,000ft, it is time to become one with the sky. As you and your instructor exit the plane, savour the thrilling minute of free fall before the parachute is deployed and you float back to down to earth.

Another option is the accelerated freefall jump, for those who prefer to jump solo. This is an Intensive course and will take place over 2 days. Your instructors will teach you everything you need to know to jump with confidence. Don’t worry, they will also jump alongside you, to help if needed.

Whichever jump you choose, the dropzone is easily visible as you come in to land. This gem of a parachute centre, has a Prop bar & Café so when your appetite returns, why not treat yourself to a yummy bacon buttie.

Why not bring some friends and family along with you, to cheer you on while you’re making your final descent? They can give you all the encouragement you need, and can be ready to take photos of you when you’re landing at the drop-zone.
