Overview

Every Formula 1 world champion learns their trade in Karts due to their nimbleness, power to weight ratio and seat-of-the-pants handling. There are only a few road cars that come close to giving the driver this driving sensation, and the MX5 is one of them.

Take this legendary rear wheel drive, lightweight car out on the track to test your skills to the limit. Fitted with race-approved suit, helmet and boots (including a balaclava to keep), you’ll be race ready in no time! Then thrash around the course for 3 laps and see how you stack up.

For the grand finale a professional driver will take you for a ‘hot-lap’ demonstrating the capability of these race-prepped rockets. Plus, you can also opt in for an exhilarating passenger ride in a super powerful 4 x 4 as an added bonus!

You end the day with a podium finish (1st place obviously), taking home photo action memorabilia on a CD so you can relive the glory on demand!

Important Information: The person driving the car will be required to sign a disclaimer accepting liability in the event of damage to the vehicle. The driver will be given an option to purchase damage waiver cover when booking to minimise their financial exposure should there be an accident. Drivers are under no obligation to purchase this optional waiver. Full details are available at the time of booking.

About this product

This experience is available on selected weekdays, March to November.
You’ll spend approximately 1 hour at the venue. The experience lasts approximately 10 minutes.
The minimum age is 17. Participants under 18 will need parental/guardian consent.
Maximum height is 193cm (6ft 4"), the minimum height is 147cm (4ft 10").
Maximum weight is 127kg (20st). Individuals who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to participate.
Participants must be in good health and must wear glasses if required.
A full UK or European manual driving licence is required and will need to be presented on the day.
This experience is for 1 person.tors are welcome, individuals under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Spectators are welcome, individuals under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

The gift vouchers you use for your experience gifts typically have a 18 month validity.

If you have not used your voucher in this time, please contact us and we may be able to help extend the deadline by up to a further six months.

There is an administration fee to extend the validity of a voucher.
