Fly with a Spitfire

Feast your eyes on the British aviation icon that is the Spitfire! The most famous fighter plane in history.

Hear the Rolls Royce Merlin engine roar as you fly alongside an epic Spitfire in proper formation. You’ll be visiting one of two fantastic airfields. Headcorn in Kent was formerly known as RAF Lashenden and was an integral airfield in both WW1 and WW2. North Weald in Essex has been flying historic fighter planes for over 100 years.

Your experience involves enjoying a ride in a passenger plane or helicopter, where you’ll get up close with the mesmerising Spitfire in mid-flight. This is an incredibly unique thing to be able to experience and a memory that will last a lifetime.

If you’re into your photography, then you’ll be in dreamland. The shots you’ll be able to get, air-to-air, of the Spitfire in action will be utterly unrivalled! If you’re not one for taking photos, then you’ll have the very best uninterrupted view possible. We really can’t stress enough how special this flight is for fans of aviation and of wartime history.

Once you’re back on the ground, you’ll have a chance to look around the Spitfire up close, and marvel at its wonderful design and stylings. An unprecedented view in multiple settings!

There are a number of different flight lengths to choose from. The options available are:

A 20-minute flight experience with 10 minutes alongside the spitfire.

A 30-minute flight experience with 20 minutes alongside the spitfire.

A 40-minute flight experience with 30 minutes alongside the spitfire.
