What did you get up to?
After being greeted at the door by a friendly face we did not waste time any time. They gave us the low down on a couple of last-minute hints and clues on how to complete our escape room game. We weren't alone as we were given a Walkie Talkie to use if we got stuck. The experience consisted of various puzzles and challenges, each leading to the next answer for a padlock or a locked item, once we had solved all the puzzles we managed to find the key and escape!
What did you enjoy the most?
I loved how you had to work together to work out the clues and it involved a lot of thinking outside the box! This isn't an experience I'd normally think to do and I'm SO glad I did it.
What did you get up to?
I arrived in London Liverpool Street and it was a simple one stop on the underground and a 5 minute walk to the door. I was greeted by an enthusiastic member of staff who informed me the theme of the Escape Room was 'Spy Heroes'. Once we were ready to get going the member of staff stepped convincingly into character and explained the background to the task - we're undercover, our agent friend has gone missing and we need to save him. The final word of advice before entering the room was to touch everything as nothing is as it first appears.
It was great fun, the game has a medium difficulty rating which in my option is a good indicator. The four of us definitely had to work as a team, pulling on individual's problem solving skills, you needed to think laterally to solve the clues. The experience lasted for an hour.
What did you enjoy the most?
Without giving too much away I would certainly recommend this escape room experience and would consider the other rooms on offer at this location. I'm always on the lookout for new thing to do with my teenage family/adult friends and this experience and location was ideal.

Disappointing
This was our second Escape Room experience and unfortunately not a patch on our previous one. The venue was tired and tatty, with dangerously steep stairs to reach the room on the first floor. The room, clues and props were poor and need refreshing. The mystery itself was tedious with a lot of reading that turned out to be unnecessary and mostly irrelevant anyway. There was a lot of repetitive padlock codebreaking, and even when we had correctly figured out the combination locks, many of the padlocks didn't open properly.
The only positive really was the staff member on duty was friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately would not recommend and suggest spending your money elsewhere.

Low budget
Firstly, the staff member was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We did The Triads escape room.
The actual room escape felt low budget and this is not reflected in the cost. It is all in one room and it lacked a dynamic range of puzzles, locks and cyphers. It was not too difficult to solve and there was assistance if needed in the form of text messages on a small mobile phone.
The building feels old, worn out and in desperate need of renovation. The stairs are very steep and potentially hazardous to those with accessibility difficulties.
There is a lot of room for improvement.

Excellent Fun
I was given the experience as a present and went with my husband and teenage children. I've never known an hour pass so quickly! Lovely friendly staff - would recommend.

It was okay
I had bought this about a month ago an we did the triad room, it was hard esp for a couple. The instructions weren't as clear an we didn't know what to do first, there were no steps an the kind lady had to tell us, also it would have been better if there were riddles because at one point we had some cards an we knew we had to find the missing ones but we didn't do it in the order they wanted it? I cant explain but it didnt make sense to us. We asked for so much help which took the fun out the game an just found it boring half way, the only thing i enjoyed was looking for the missing items in the room e.g. under the table, but once we found them all it was like.. bleh
