Ooh to be a Gooner!
From the ashes of Highbury came this incredible stadium situated only a few hundred yards from the site of Arsenal’s glory days. The Arsenal, in their famous red and white kit, are one of London’s most successful teams and this is your chance to visit the mesmerizing Emirates stadium.
The first thing you see when you walk up to this monumental footballing theatre, is a statue of one of the greatest players to ever grace a football pitch: Thierry Henry. Whilst Arsenal have moved home a few times over the years, you still feel that huge sense of history when entering the new famous home of The Arsenal. The stadium is adorned with images of the likes of Charlie George and Tony Adams, among other Arsenal greats.
Walk down the players’ tunnel and imagine the sound of just over 60,000 fans reverberating around the stadium bowl. For true Gooners it doesn’t get any better than this. The players may be absent, but the atmosphere and excitement still linger in the air.
Learn about the history of the club, from its humble beginnings in 1886, through to the arrival of a certain Mr Wenger in 1996, and the Premier League successes that followed.
You will be guided around the stadium with the help of a state-of-the-art audio-visual handset.
Look out at the beautiful panoramic views from the Director’s box, before you visit the team dug-out and stand in the shoes of Unai Emery. Then, step into the changing rooms where the first team prepare to perform their magic on the pitch.
Finish off this memorable experience with a visit to the museum where you will be free to browse at your own leisure and soak in the iconic memorabilia on show.

What did you get up to?
During the Emirates stadium tour we visited the Director's Lounge, Director's Box, Diamond Club, Home and Away changing rooms, Unai Emery's office (which looked nothing like any office I have experienced), the medical/treatment room and the Hydro spa. Very interesting to compare the players and visitors changing rooms - a bit of psychology went into both. The trophy room was excellent - well-presented and highly memorable.
We then went to the tunnel, you can imagine running out of the dark tunnel into the bright sunshine and a massive crowd of 60,000 people - that in itself seemed positive and motivating. We sat in Unai Emery seats (the substitute bench) - very comfortable.
Following the tour which was around an hour, we visited the Arsenal museum. It had two main areas one with lots of history and one for more modern times.
What did you enjoy the most?
Definitely walking down the tunnel and imagining I was a footballer about to face my fans!
