The experience starts with a safety briefing with the instructor who will demonstrate the exciting aircraft controls. The instructor will take off and demonstrate basic manoeuvres before handing you the controls for you to fly the aircraft.

When I was a kid one of my dreams was to become a pilot and experiencing this, even if it was only for a short time, was one of the best things I have done in my life. When I arrived, the little boy inside me came out and I was genuinely so excited that I was actually going to be flying a plane! The lady at reception was ever so friendly from the moment I arrived and when I left. Before we got started, my instructor Ian asked me to help him re-fuel the plane which was interesting because I didn't know the fuel tank for planes was in the wings! After re-fuelling, we boarded the plane and Ian explained the basic functions (believe me, there are a lot!) and then we took off for what was an amazing experience! During the flight we flew over the legendary Silverstone race track amongst all the other scenic views we had. I was fortunate enough to go on a sunny day so the whole thing was worth every second. The turbulence did scare me a few times but the excitement I had didn't even let this phase me! Overall, I had a fantastic time and I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who loves a thrilling experience.
